Gugulethu Mbatha (better known by the name Gugu-Mbatha Raw) is an British actress and film actor who became famous due to her appearance in a episode of Doctor Who, the British sci-fi TV show, that was telecast by the BBC. Gugu made her name by playing Tish Jones in the popular BBC show. The character was sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. Gugu had a destiny to make an acting career as the public was captivated by the joy of her personality. Her other stage and TV productions in the UK include a variety of other productions. Critics have praised her for her performances of "Belle" (2013), an English period drama, and "Beyond the lights" the romantic comedy. The actress has also appeared in various American shows like 'Larry Crowne", which is one of actor Tom Hanks comedy film as well as television shows like the "Undercover," and "Touch.' Gugu Mbatha Raw starred in the play "Nell Gwynn" written by Jessica Swale as an actress and also as the mistress to King Charles II. There was a great deal of praise from critics that were very pleased with her acting skills as well as her performance. She went on to be nominated for the highly coveted 'Evening Standard' Theatre Award for Best Actress. Gugu also received the Member of the Order of the British Empire award (MBE) from Queen Elizabeth II for her outstanding contribution to the drama.
Chelsea Joy Handler was born on the 25th of February, 1975, located in Livingston, New Jersey. She was one of the six youngest children. Her mother was a domestic worker, while her father was an auto dealer. Her mother, who was a German Immigrant in America in the year 1958, was born and raised there. United States since 1958, was born in Germany. Handler was diagnosed with cancer of the breast in 1989. She was able to die after fighting the disease for the past ten years. Handler was educated in Reform Judaism by her father and grandfather, who were Jewish. Handler had a happy and healthy growing up in a wealthy neighbourhood. At the age of her 20s the Handler moved from the city of her birth to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting. Handler became an actress to support her. Handler began to do stand-up comics full-time once she reached the age of 21. It was clear that she has a knack for story telling. Handler began her career in her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Poorly show, which featured a reality TV show that had the use of a hidden camera/practical joke. Between 2002 and 2005, the show aired. Handler was also featured in various shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her work as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a reporter. Her breakthrough came in 2006 when she was able to host her own program on E! It was titled the Chelsea Handler Show. It ran for two seasons. Handler then performed in America on Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up shows. In 2010 she was informed that she would host the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. By doing this, she was only the second host female in history after Roseanne.
